Located just outside of Dayton, Beavercreek has acres of green space, including a wildlife refuge, several golf courses and miles of trails. Many residents work at nearby Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, home to the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, or high-tech companies that have sprung up in Beavercreek thanks to the base. A mall, a live-work-play town center called The Greene and a host of mom-and-pop shops round out the business climate. Students here get their smarts from Beavercreek's top-ranked school district, a community college and the nearly 20,000-student Wright State University.
